Swift Labor and Sanitation Services LTD is a BC-based staffing agency headquartered at 2887 Bergman St, Abbotsford, British Columbia. In this policy, "Swift", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the company. "You" refers to clients, prospective clients, workers, job applicants, and visitors to this website.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the personal information we need to deliver staffing and sanitation services, process applications, and operate our website.

Contact and quote requests

Name, company, email, phone, industry, site location, number of workers requested, and any details you include in a message. This comes directly from you via our quote form, email, or phone calls.

Workers and applicants

Identity and contact information, work eligibility documentation, SIN (where required for payroll and WorkSafeBC), references, training certificates (WHMIS, HACCP, FoodSafe, and industry-specific), emergency contacts, banking details for direct deposit, and time and attendance records.

Website and device data

IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location. Collected through standard web-server logs and, where applicable, privacy-friendly analytics.

3. How we use your information

  • Respond to quote requests and onboard new clients.
  • Dispatch, schedule, and pay workers assigned to client sites.
  • Verify training, certifications, and legal eligibility to work.
  • Meet WorkSafeBC, CRA, and client-compliance obligations.
  • Improve our website, services, and internal operations.
  • Communicate about shifts, invoices, or policy updates.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only when needed to provide our services, and only with parties bound by confidentiality or legal obligations:

  • Clients: worker name, role, training status, and shift details required to place crews on site.
  • Service providers: payroll processors, banking partners, IT and hosting vendors, and training providers, each under written agreement.
  • Regulators and insurers: WorkSafeBC, Canada Revenue Agency, and other authorities where required by law or to investigate a workplace incident.
  • Legal requirements: where disclosure is compelled by court order, subpoena, or applicable law.

5. How we protect your information

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including restricted access, encrypted transmission for online forms, locked physical storage of paper records, and retention schedules that remove information once it is no longer needed for a legal or business purpose.

6. Retention

Quote-request data is retained for as long as the sales conversation remains active, and for up to 24 months afterward. Worker and payroll records are retained for the longer of seven years or the period required by CRA, WorkSafeBC, and employment-standards legislation. Website logs are retained for up to 12 months.

7. Cookies

Our site may use a small number of cookies to remember form state, measure aggregate traffic, and keep the site secure. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from browsing the site but may affect form functionality.

8. Your rights

Under BC PIPA and Canadian PIPEDA, you can:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Withdraw consent for ongoing uses, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
  • File a complaint with the BC Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (oipc.bc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

9. Children

Our services are directed at businesses and working-age individuals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
